features
m³
demolition waste avoided
Two layers of existing pavements have been maintained below the new floor to reduce the volume of debris to landfill.
kg CO2e

A new responsibly sourced solid plank floor was installed allowing for carbon sequestration.
number of items reclaimed

increased energy efficiency
The existing gas boiler was replaced with an air source heat pump which is 3 times more energy efficient.
A large living area is obtained by removing one single internal partition and replacing the wall between kitchen with a bright glass door.
The optimization of internal flows allowed for the creation of a second bathroom/laundry room.
The separation between the living area and the bedrooms/bathrooms area is provided by a frameless flush door.
New and old, reclaimed (40+) and custom-designed pieces of furniture (basically the kitchen and the bathroom fixtures) perfectly merge in every room.
A lot of plants, floor finishing with traditional patterns and natural materials create a warm, sustainable and healthy indoor environment.
A high efficiency heat pump combined with concealed ceiling units are designed to meet both energy performance and aesthetic needs.
